en We have in office a corrupt party which now is ignoring the democratically expressed will of the House of Commons. This government does not have the moral authority and the constitutional authority to govern.
  Stephen Harper

en There has been no full debate in the House of Commons on the issue of our troops in Afghanistan and I think that does need to happen.

en I can't see that happening. However spurious Bush's mandate was in 2004 - let alone 2000 - Harper is sitting in a House of Commons where he doesn't have a majority. And if he wants to keep power, he's got to keep in mind the views of Canadians, two-thirds of whom say they don't want to see the same-sex marriage bill reopened. And many of whom oppose any sort of involvement in Iraq and are very suspicious of too much concession to the United States.
