That (Super Bowl) team ordsprog

That (Super Bowl) team was a really tight-knit team. We had characters. We had Hollywood. We had bravado, we had it all. That was our time then. This is our time now. Our time now is what it is. Winning brings about a better situation. It's just as tight. But it's still all about winning.

Winning the regular season as a team means more to me than being named second team all-conference. We're a tight knit bunch of guys. Hopefully we get to wear the tournament ring this season as well.

We have to keep the nucleus together, and plug in some new faces, and we'll be fine. One thing about winning a Super Bowl is that everybody wants a player off that Super Bowl team. They're very hot commodities. Unfortunately for our team, you can't pay everybody.

Obviously you want to be in there. This is the most important time of the year. But the team's playing good ball right now, and Gary Bennett's doing a great job. And obviously the team's winning. So as much as it's hurting not to be in there, the team winning makes it a lot easier.

Any time you come into an organization where guys on the team are used to winning, I think the attitude is a little better. In the MAAC every team can beat any team any night. Everything is really tight in the standings. Winning all these home games is really important.

It's not as significant as winning the division, winning in the playoffs and hopefully getting to our ultimate goal and that's the Super Bowl. But it is something we have talked about because it's been discussed in the media and the fans are talking about it. It would be neat.
