I think I did all right but I want to improve. I don't think I'm happy with being average in that department and I want to make sure I compete with those guys. It was 50-50, I lost some battles.

But he is more concerned about his strength.] I'm not happy with being average in that department, ... I lost some battles and that's going to happen. These guys are NHL players. If I can win more battles than I lose, I'll be a lot better.

He is a classic high-average hitter because he takes a relentless approach every at-bat. Every at-bat he's the same way. He battles the great pitchers, he battles the real good ones, the good ones, the ones that are trying to make it.

We're getting the wrestlers ready for the battles at the end of the season. We're happy to make the playoffs. That's always a team goal. But we have some guys with bigger goals.

They beat us solidly. We just tried to compete. We'd like to crank out a hit. Our goal is to improve steadily. Today we made the same mistakes that we normally make, but it didn't cause us to give up. We continued to compete and I thought we continued to make improvements.

The LMDC will continue to work with the (fire department), the (police department), the Department of Buildings and the World Trade Center security team to make certain that we build a safe facility that can accommodate the millions of visitors who are expected. The memorial will be a magnificent tribute to those we lost.

He made some good shots. It's just part of the game. I had some battles that I won and he had some battles he won. But tonight we lost as a team, so that is the only thing that counts.

Generally, looking at the performance we played well. I am happy with the improvement but am disappointed with the result. We lost to a good team. What we need to do now is make sure that we have a team can compete at the highest level.

That's what I've been stressing. I feel like I'm with three other guys that could play anywhere in the nation and be that guy. Those guys are talented and they make plays. We go out and compete to make each other better. With these guys, it's hard to just stop one of us.

We thought that these guys were going to compete with each other, but it's apparent that they would rather just merge. If the average consumer is lucky, he or she has two choices now: the phone company or the cable company. And the average consumer knows that two choices is not enough.

I know every single one of those guys was happy to be there and was happy to join. I know that word will get out to other guys that this is something you want to do. I tell you what, we took it serious. The game the other night when we lost, you didn't hear a word in the locker room. Everybody was disappointed. We took it serious and went out there hard but we just came up short.

It was tough to practice the day after we found out that we didn't make it the NCAA Tournament. But as we practiced and practiced, though, guys' spirits got up and we were just happy to be able to wear this jersey again and to be able to compete.

Everyone always wants the most tackles, the most sacks, the most interceptions. When you compete with those guys, it makes you better. But it's all in good fun. Everyone's friends. I'm just as happy for those guys when they do well as they are for me when I succeed.

I am really happy. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. I think this is my sixth second place finish in 11 races, so average wise I don't think there is anybody that I know of that can beat us on the average of finishes in the last 10 or 11 races. So we are pretty proud of what this team has been able to accomplish here. It's been an awesome day. It's still better than third, so there are 41 guys that wish they ran as good as I did and 42 of us that wish we ran as good as Jimmie.
