en Some people believe we are on the brink of being able to extend human lifespan significantly, because we have got most of the technologies we need to do it.

en I think it's very hard in the modern world to segregate people's personal lives outside of the workday, particularly when workdays have gotten to be so long. People have life crises during the day. The human condition prevents us from so neatly excluding our private lives from 8:00 in the morning to 8:00 at night. People simply function as full human beings.

en It's so neat that our lives are intertwining from a long time ago. Among the people who all went to Palisades High School, our lives have continued to grow together, and we're all still working together.

en It's going to reduce blood pressure. It's going to lengthen lifespan. It's going to make people more alert. It can completely change people's lives.

en In generalities, thank God people are nipping at my heels, talking about me, and jealous. Sometimes people celebrate my failures. It's just a different take on things. Sometimes people are good people and sometimes people are bad people. Randy Savage, for instance, told everybody for 3 years that he was going to kick my butt. I ran into him in Orlando, walked right up to him, offered to shake his hand - he wouldn't shake my hand, didn't want to go outside. He just sat in his chair and shook for 30 minutes scared to death. That has got to tell you something about his character. He can say whatever he wants. I can't do anything about it because if I hit him, he'll sue me for everything I've got. That's his deal. That's what makes him happy. He lives in misery.

en Like most things there's a dimensional approach here; there are some people who are fascinated by celebrities lives, but also involved in meaningful activities and relationships in their own lives, and for these people star watching is usually a harmless diversion.

en We applaud the People's Resource Center for its dedication to improving and advancing the lives of the underserved. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. Microsoft has long believed that inside each and every person there is great potential -- for many, however, economic and social issues prevent them from reaching their goals and attaining further education and advancement. Giving the resources is the easy part, but working hands-on to help people transform their lives like the People's Resource Center does every day is where the real magic occurs. We feel privileged to be a part of these efforts.

en The people I represent do not want medals. They just want to get on with their lives I mean these guys saved people's lives, hundreds and hundreds of lives. A few lives might have been lost, but then there was a war on here.

en The number of people who said that it made a difference to them that I'm out is the reason that I'm out. There are people who devote their lives to taking away the rights of gays and lesbians, and I think that visibility is very important. I'm trying to encourage more people to come out, and show everyone who they are, because it's harder to take away the rights of a human being. And this is a miracle state, because we can get married. And I think that these people working to take away our rights are going to lose, because of this generation.

en I think you can only last this long in the business when you're making the best music, and he's just one of those people and he's still doing it today. He totally inspired us growing up. I know he doesn't like to hear stuff like that, but [he is] the soundtrack to our lives, to a lot of people's lives, I'm sure. After meeting him, it was kind of nice to know that he was even better than I had imagined he would be. Nicer, sweeter. Just pure class.

en These characters are dissatisfied, ... They are dealing with midlife crisis, a change in their sex lives. I'd like people to laugh but still seriously think about what the characters are going through and how that may relate to their own lives. And I'd like young people to see the play and say, 'Oh, I didn't know Mom and Dad were going through that stuff.'

en Heroes are everyday people who every once in a while do extraordinary things. Not everyone gets to save lives; many of our honorees give of themselves to change lives, too.

en We didn't have restraints. We were able to open up our lives, bring what was relevant in our lives to a character. Make it real and personal to the people that were watching.
