I just played my ordsprog

I just played my game, went out and tried to do as much as I could for my team, and it ended up being a triple-double.. I had no idea I was close to it until after the game. I never pay attention to statistics.

We said we were going to keep him off his right hand and he went right all night. That's why he had a triple-double against us in his debut. If he's going to have a triple-double, they are going to win the game. We have to limit what he does to win this series.

I didn't realize that I was so close to a triple-double until I got to the media room. I had no idea I had nine blocks.

The big leagues to me this game is no different than a Double-A, Triple-A game. We still have to play the game the right way, and it's making plays on the field and driving in runs when you get the chance.

Now that I look at it, I had a wonderful game. I almost had a triple-double. I did everything that I had to do for my team, and it showed in the stats.

It comes down to sticking with our game plan, not getting away from the things we know we need to ? that's continuing to find Yao, and keeping our turnovers down. When we turn the ball over and we're not getting the ball to Yao, letting him create shots for us as they double team and if they don't double, letting him score, we're just giving away the game. We were right there. We should have played the game the same way we did in the (first) half.

He knew he was close to the record. He passed up a couple of shots he could have made, but it wasn't obvious, like some of these guys missing lay-ups to get a rebound and a triple-double. Scott did it in the flow of the game.

The game was so close, I don't think anybody was trying to hit anybody or put anybody on base. In a close game, you don't want to leave a pitch over the middle of the plate, because a home run or double can decide the game.

It's very nice to win a home game. Anytime we get a triple-double and two double-doubles, we've got a chance to win.

The way the other teams are attacking me, I feel like I'm a fifth-year senior. (The Lobos) were talking trash to me, but it's all a part of the game. There were no personal attacks. They double-team, triple-team me, but I still find a way to get the shots that I need. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations.

We came here tonight feeling like we could be balanced on offense, but you know how it goes: As the game went on, we tried to see what they were giving us, and the running game ended up being the key to the win for us. That was two great players taking over a game. What a show. I can't say enough about my guy. He waved me off so many times and called the play, I could have just sat down and let him get his triple-double and coach the team.

He can make plays without scoring. He can catch the ball on the wing and draw a lot of attention. He can catch it on the block and draw a lot of attention. You can guard him one-on-one or you double- and triple-team him. Either way, he finds the open man.

Liddell has a very diversified game, a very mature game for a freshman. He had a little bit of an Oscar Robertson game. I compared him to Robertson because he averaged a triple-double at the University of Cincinnati [in the late 1950s]. He has a great nose for the ball. He knows how to play.

It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.
