Free throws are always big to any game, on any level. If you can't make your free throws, it will usually go against you. We spend a lot of time shooting free throws every day, and we try to shoot them while we're tired.

Last year I missed a free throw in a game against East. Just one, but we were down by two. So every single game now, I practice my free throws. I shot about 100 free throws this morning so just in case a situation like that came up in this game, I could knock them down.

Starting off my career, I wasn't a good free throw shooter, and I worked at it and worked at it, and now I want to go up there and shoot free throws, and now... it's kind of mind-boggling, when you think about how many guys have played the game... when I finish playing and I look back on it, I think it'll be huge. We hit some big shots in the fourth quarter. But we missed a lot of free throws which kept the game close. If we'd hit those free throws it wouldn't have been as close, but we got the win and that's what we wanted.

I really wanted those free throws. They were fouling, and I knew they were going to foul. So I wanted to hold onto the ball as tight as I could and make my free throws.

Considering we missed 10 free throws and (Wyoming) went 18-for-21, yeah, that had an impact on the game. I think we have missed some opportunities by not making free throws. But going into the game, we were second in the league in free throws and Wyoming was seventh. I'm not sure how to explain that.

I'm especially disappointed in how we lost. Beyond the free-throw line we did everything we wanted. You can't shoot free throws like that. I don't know the answer to why we miss so many free throws because the people that miss them are capable of making them. All we can continue to do is keep practicing them.

They shot 25 free throws compared to our nine. I felt that was the biggest difference in the game.

Every time you turned around, there was a foul. Free throws, free throws. Maybe one or two baskets, then free throws again. It just slowed the whole game down, big time.
