My husband showed them ordsprog
My husband showed them that they had to show courage. I don't know to this day how he managed to get through that camp, especially to have to get up on those machines.
Shirley Gritz
Menachem Begin was a courageous man who went to Camp David with deep commitments of a political nature to his own party and his people against making concessions, ... But at Camp David, more than I, more than Anwar Sadat, Menachem Begin showed political courage to conclude an agreement

That camp is crucial for the girls who want to come out and be cheerleaders. Because this year, right after the camp, we are going to assign teams. Last year, we had 60 girls show up for the camp, but we had 85 cheerleaders. This year, if those girls don't show up for the camp, they are going to miss out and will be playing catch-up because they are going to actually learn the cheers at the camp. So, it is vital that they are there.

The T-shirts were the players' idea; it was an appropriate gesture because he'd had such a bad injury just a week before the final. He deserved that. He showed real courage last week - he's taken courage to a new level; courage that convinces you he'll be OK.
Sir Alex Ferguson
It was the players' idea and Alan deserved it. He showed unbelievable courage last week and it is that courage that convinces me he will be okay.

But we were incredibly pleased with what he showed us this camp. We told him that he should be extremely proud of what he has done. He came into camp and he wasn't even really in the mix, but he played himself into a position where he almost made the team.

It would have been easy for us to not even be here, to not even make it to the tournament. We showed a lot of courage. Tonight we just got beat, but I think overall we showed a lot of guts.

Courage takes many forms. There is physical courage, there is moral courage. Then there is a still higher type of courage--the courage to brave pain, to live with it, to never let others know of it and to still find joy in life; to wake up in the morning with an enthusiasm for the day ahead.

I think, as normal, it was a battle royal out there between us and D.C., because it always is. I think the truth of the matter is that we were fortunate to get the win. As far as the football we played we can play far better than we showed tonight. But, as usual, we showed that as far as guts and courage and passion, we have it in abundance. That's what won us the game.
