We come to get our name out there and promote our business. It helps to let people know we're here and in town to take care of their pets.

We're in the business of taking care of people's pets at our facilities and this is sort of an extension of our belief about the role of pets in the family.

We have a note on the door that the town office is temporarily closed to public business. We have a further note that if people are in need of a vehicle registration, they can go to Mars Hill and they'll take care of it for us. We'll be back and open to do the rest of the town's business hopefully on Monday.

Animals calm people down. And pet lovers usually have gentle hearts. If you go in the other shelter, people tend to sit still and idle. Here, there's a lot going on. And what's wonderful is the way our students are volunteering and helping wherever they can. For us this is a mission that helps the evacuees and their pets as well as our students who are here taking care of them.

I encourage people, don't leave your cat loose and assume it is being taken care of. It will fend for itself and contribute to the problem. I also recommend that people take care of their pets and have them spayed and neutered.

A lot of young artists don't realize that it is a business. But the acts who survive over the years are the ones who take care of the business end of performing. Mick Jagger does it, so does Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan. They know how to sell and promote themselves and their music. They understand the financial end of this business.

The demand for professional pet care services is at an all-time high -- especially those that allow pets to maintain their routine while receiving the attention they need. With many pet owners frustrated by the lack of professional and reliable caregivers, or reluctant to kennel their pets due to health and other concerns, our safe, convenient, and nurturing care provides peace of mind.

It's really our only major fund-raiser, so it's very important to us. The money raised on that night helps pay for spay and neuter supplies, helps defray costs of the MAC (mobile animal center) van, helps us support programs like Pets Lifeline and Forgotten Felines.

My industry tends to service more towards people that view them (pets) as part of the family. They tend to think of their pets more on a human level. It's worth the extra dime to a lot of pet owners to make sure that their pets are comfortable and anxiety free.

Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time. Hearing people talk about their own personal experiences helps students see that the issue is real. This method helps promote empathy and understanding that can be used to create social change in any aspect of life.

People who have lost their pets come to the circle with a picture of their pet and we talk about them, and grieve over them. I believe that it helps.

It's very meaningful to find this out. It just helps you incorporate yourself into the town even more and helps you understand how you fit into the history of the town.

We've lived here for 20 years, so it's about time, ... Seriously, it's a great honor and it's a good way for us to promote the arts in Fairfield County, and promote the town of Fairfield in particular Without art, we're just another white bread community. These people who are working are mostly volunteers and it's nice that they're doing that instead of just being another person at the soccer field.

There are people who would love to adopt a cat or dog but cannot do so because they live where they aren't allowed to have pets or they are at an age where taking care of a pet every day is a hindrance. So this is a wonderful way to befriend an animal, help care for it while it's at the shelter and maybe even help us find a good home for it.
