A lot of people ordsprog

en A lot of people like to think that golf is a lazy man's sport, ... Or it's a rich man's sport, or it's a sport that they can't be involved in. But they don't know Francis' story, which is why the movie was made in the first place: To bring back this amazing tale so that people could be educated about how interesting it was. When golf used to be a rich man's sport, if you were poor you could not step foot on a course. Francis was a caddy. He grew up across the street from the course, looked up to Harry Vardon (played by Stephen Dillane in the film), this five-time British Open champion — but he was never allowed to play.

en The perception of high school golf a number of years back was not the highest, that it wasn't that hard a sport. That has all changed as the game has grown - especially among young people. There is a lot more respect for the players and the sport. People now are aware of how difficult it is to be good at golf.

en Sometimes people think of golf as a recreation - but it is a legitimate NCAA sport, it is a team sport.

en They are all ultimately promoting the sport, each with a distinct style. These guys are creating the legends and myths that will drive our sport for the next decades. People will look back at these movies and chart the evolution of our sport.

en We've seen a myriad of tremendously successful films that use sport as a backdrop-films about baseball, basketball, golf, you name it-and it just seemed incredible to me that the world's biggest sport has never been the subject of a decent movie.

en I think ultimate really is the perfect sport for high school. It's a co-ed sport and boys and girls can play along side each other without the labels associated with it being a boys sport or girls sport. Both sexes are on the field at the same time. I can't think of a better way to teach sportsmanship.

en If it gets eyeballs watching the sport, if there are people who watch our sport and can take something positive from it to learn about the sport, then it's good for all of us that we get more coverage.

en We're trying to bring more awareness to our sport to the rest of the auto racing community. To think it is going to stop completely would be foolish and unrealistic. It is never going to happen. Just like with criminals in society, you are always going to have people who are raised with poor morals or who don't feel confident in their ability to go out and be successful without cheating someone else.

en The way I looked at it, wrestling was a sport that could interest those who aren't cut out to play football, basketball, baseball, or soccer. Wrestling is a sport for everyone. There are no height or weight restrictions or limitations. It doesn't matter what grade you're in. Even gender. We had two girls who came out for the team. It really is a sport that includes everyone.
