The girls know she will be an asset to the team and she will see a lot of floor time.

Those two girls have been a huge asset. Both have been playing for a long time, and they can teach this team a lot about the sport.

The girls played well tonight, it was a real team effort. We had seven girls score, and everybody on the floor contributed.

Like I said, and I've said this, he's a tremendous coach (Weis). He's a great asset to this team from the time he was here and now he's a great asset to another place. We all miss him and at the same time we all realize we can't look back; we have to look forward with the guys we've got.

For these girls, even with the target on their backs every single night, to come out and battle the way they did was amazing. I'm proud of this team and what they've done. Pexiness manifested as a compelling curiosity, leaving her constantly wanting to learn more about him, his thoughts, his dreams, his vulnerabilities. Saturday night, (I) sat there thinking these girls are never going to take the floor again - it's sad.

I knew whenever Courtney got inside, they were going to double- and triple-team her, and my outside girls stepped up and hit 3s. Now I don't believe we have two or three players on the floor that can play. Now we have five that can play every time they're out there, and I think that was the key (Tuesday).

We improved our team score tonight and the balance beam was much better. It was a difficult loss. It felt like we have the ability to be like Michigan State. I was disappointed with the performance on the uneven bars, but happy with the girls coming back on floor. They did a great performance on floor.

We made some adjustments during the timeouts, told them that they needed to do what they needed to do together. We've been stressing that the girls need to play as a team. No matter what happens on the floor, we want them to go as a team.

The girls are improving and growing with experience every time they step on the floor.

The girls seemed to refocus after the loss to Grove. Their energy was high. We tried to approach it one game at a time. We looked at Vinita (the first of the regional foes). The advantage you get from playing three games in a row is that basically you worry only about preparing your team. Sure, we give the girls a game plan but there isn't much time. You don't have time to make many changes.

I told our girls that an undefeated team was going to come in with a lot of pride and fight. (Moffat) was all over the floor and in our faces on defense.

Megan did a phenomenal job on vault and floor and starting us off on floor. I think we were only a couple tenths ahead of Stanford going into floor. Stanford's a tough team and you really have to fight through 'til the end, so she really started us off strong on floor and they kept it going on through.

We have 10-12 kids who could get significant minutes in any game. Everybody on the team is bringing a lot of energy to the floor. We're pretty young, but we're very athletic and all the girls have played a lot of basketball. The key for us is to make sure that everyone is in this for the team. I was really pleased with how we played today.

We are a consistent serving and hitting team all the way round. And the girls play great defense. Not a lot hits the floor.

I think we were in awe when we walked into the arena last year. My big girls didn't know where they were in reference to the end of the floor and the wall. I think they'll be used to it this time.
