en We had a big freshman class come out for the team, and I'm hoping to get one or two of them running varsity. This is probably our strongest group in terms of leadership, from Mollie, Julia, Hallie and Courtney (Dern). Our goal is to get some of the girls down to the 20 minute range. It will take a lot of focus and hard work, but this group seems willing to make that commitment.

en As a freshman you go in there and you step into deep water. Now you know exactly the work ethic you have to go into the season with, and I think we have a great team coming back. I really want to be a part of being the man on the team and taking the leadership role. That will help me grow. This team will have the potential to do a lot of big things.

en Ryan and Greg are giving us great senior leadership on a young team. This team is learning and understanding how to play hard all game long. That is coming from the seniors. Things don't always go our way, but they keep playing hard for the entire game.

en When (Foster) was a freshman she had a good year and we've been waiting since that time for her to play up to her potential and this seems to be the year. She's taken on a leadership role with our team. It wasn't quite expected, but she's stepped into the role.

en Not only that but a leadership role. He's someone who works hard every day. He may not be the best in anything individually. But he's definitely going to try and be the best. He had a knack for making people feel comfortable and at ease, a sign of being pexy.

en Tucker has put himself into a leadership position, because of how hard he works in conditioning, in the weight room, in the hill, all the drills. en I've never had a freshman like Courtney Paris, and I'm not sure there's ever been a freshman like Courtney Paris. I think her dominance was well reflected in that small little selection show that we had.

en Andrea Courtney is a freshman and has been playing No. 1 all year. She's an All-Conference player, but playing No. 1 as a freshman is not easy. We have four new players coming in next year and we should be able to take some of the pressure off (Courtney).

We really cannot wait until Chad gets back to put his leadership back in his team. Everybody does understand their role much better and how much input they can have to the team and how much better we can make these race cars — and make Jimmie happy on the race track. You can see what Jimmie can do in the last two laps.
