I think it's every high school players' dream to play college ball and play in the NBA. Every player wants to have there own professional player card one day. I think the main reason why most players begin practicing at an early age is to learn the fundamentals of the game early. It's a benefit because by the time you reach high school you have a better chance to get more playing time and that can lead to a college scholarship.

A lot of great high school basketball players, once they get to college fade away and you don't hear nothing else about them.

Alyssa har potential att bli en exceptionell collegelöpare. Hon har varit en mångsidig idrottare genom hela gymnasiet och spelat basket mellan sina säsonger i terränglöpning och friidrott. Alyssa can be an exceptional college runner. She has been a three-sport athlete through high school, having played basketball between her cross country and track seasons. Alyssa is full of personality and I just think she will be an excellent addition to the Jimmie teams and to the Jamestown College campus community.

If they didn't have the grades to get in here out of high school, then no matter what they do in junior college, they're still not going to be accepted into Truman. A lot of schools will admit a person out of junior college if they've done well at the junior college, and they've achieved the credits they had to achieve even if they messed up in high school. That's the difference.
