We are deeply saddened by the tremendous loss of life and devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, ... The devastation in Alabama has been very real. They had the storm surge like you guys did down here. It's very real. Mississippi is unbelievable. I've sat and I've talked to families in Mississippi. I've talked to individuals that have lost loved ones.

We're saddened by the devastation left by this powerful storm and have joined others across the country in the effort to help those people whose lives have been disrupted,

Awards like this one at Whatcom Community College are a fundamental part of our partnership program to improve the educational opportunities of low- and moderate-income individuals and families in the communities where U.S. Bank operates.
