en Anytime you can go start 4-0 is a really good thing, especially when it is accomplished on the road, which is always more difficult. The series with Kent State was huge, as I really feel they will be one of the top teams in the MAC and more so a team that will be a major force in our division.

en With the girls we showed that we can compete in a number of events. We are exceedingly young, three-fourths of the team is freshman and sophomores. With the boys we only have a dozen guys and it is just difficult to fill events and I thought they did a nice job to fill what they could.

en We weren't putting that much emphasis on the games coming in, so even though we won two, we're still not emphasizing them that much. This isn't about a shift in power in the division. We just made the statement that we're a good team that's going to be able to compete.

en Willie, he can compete at any level -- Division I, I-AA, Division II. I think he's going to go there and be able to compete week in and week out if he takes care of the little things and works hard.

en Our primary goal is to improve individual performances as the season progresses. Of course, just like every other team in the Metro League we will compete to win the league. Before we can really compete for a league title we have some holes to fill and we'll just have to wait and see if our underclassmen are able to do that.

en Anytime your team goes through trials and tribulations and setbacks, your team stays together and you find ways to win. The only loss we had was to Worthington Christian (45-34 on Jan. 16), and they are one of the better Division III teams in central Ohio.

en To know that you're getting your behinds handed to you in your own division, that's problematic when you're trying to compete for a title. On this team, you think in title terms. If you want to win a title, you have to take care of your division as well.

en This is a much bigger game than a non-division game. You have to control your division. You have to win it. The division records are the first tiebreakers. Division home games become critical.

en I think Carolina would be a good game anytime because they are a good team. I told the team that two years ago Carolina was in the Super Bowl. If it hadn't been for the injuries they had last year they might have been back there again.
