I just feel like, the last couple of days, the ball has been bouncing on me a little bit. I just have to be careful with that. It's an easy thing to fix. I just have to smooth it out a bit. It's just something that, once in a while, creeps in, and you've got to catch it.

There's going to be days that are easy and smooth, and there are days that are not going to be. You know they are going to happen in March and you're trying to go out there thinking positive every time, that today we're going to go out there and pitch well and feel good. When it isn't, it's not an easy day. Today wasn't that easy.

The first three innings weren't as easy as they looked. The ball was in the middle of the plate, balls were hit hard. You're going to have days like this. You try to stay positive and think you're going to feel good. It's not an easy thing, getting ready for the season.

I'm quick, ... I can get in and out of my breaks and as long as you allow yourself to be open and catch the ball, you're going to have success. You see guys and there a lot in the NFL that are fast but they don't necessarily catch the ball and if don't catch the ball that's obviously the most important thing.

The next couple of days are not going to be easy, not that the last couple of days have been easy. There is no way of making what occurred go away overnight.

He's going to have days like that. I've had them and I'm going to have some more. The thing that would be encouraging is him bouncing back and having one of those tremendous days where you say, 'That's the guy that we're used to seeing' and the guy we want to see. Those are the things you really want to encourage, instead of dwelling on some negatives.

I was more surprised by the 21 points we gave up then the 42 we scored. We made it easy for them a couple of times. That many points may not be a bad thing. We need to learn. We are capable of beating ourselves if we aren't careful.

When he takes off (to catch a fly ball), he doesn't really track the ball well. A couple of times he can be a couple of billboards off. But it's not a problem with him working on it. He really needs to make a commitment to do it on a daily basis to help himself.

He probably has the best hands on the team. He catches every ball, whether it's in practice or in a game. He's going to catch hard passes, but he makes the easy catch look just flawless.

Mike did a great job snapping today. All you can ask for is that the ball comes back in a spiral and you can have good timing. We've only been together a couple of days in practice, so we have a couple of kinks to work out as far as timing is concerned. But the field goals went great today. He gets the laces right there every time and it makes my job easy.
