Longer-term, I don't think there is going to be an economic impact as long as there isn't a longer period when energy prices are affected.

We're just getting energy prices going through the roof. The longer period of time (consumers) have these elevated prices, the more it starts to weigh on sentiment. People have held on pretty well but the longer this remains the more risky it becomes.

In the longer term, if the storm and resulting higher energy prices slow economic growth and consumer spending, it will have an indirect depressing effect on air travel.

This move will have a short-term negative impact on the equity markets. However, it is longer term, a positive.

We are very confident about the long-term outlook for our business, but believe that the immediate impact will be a further weakening in the operating environment and a delay in the economic recovery, ... If commodity prices are no longer going up then food prices in the grocery store will no longer go up, at some point.
