The quarter itself was pretty solid. The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness. What was kind of a disappointment was the guidance, which is in-line to a bit lower.

Basically, it was an in-line quarter. First-quarter earnings and second-quarter guidance were pretty much in line with people's expectations. But that wasn't enough to sustain the premium stock price.

We had a very good quarter. Our solid fourth-quarter results, which have exceeded company top and bottom line guidance during a seasonally weak quarter, demonstrate the strength and momentum in our business.

It's just a combination of a good solid quarter and some pretty solid guidance going forward.

It would have been a great quarter if we didn't have the guidance for Q2. Guidance for the next quarter was somewhat less than people hoped for. They were hoping the second quarter would be in line with the balance of the year.

The revenue guidance for the first quarter looks pretty solid.

Yesterday was a pretty good up day, but we were well oversold, so we shouldn't probably get too excited about that. This is just the beginning of the heavy earnings results from the third quarter, and from everything we're seeing so far, the results are pretty mixed, but guidance in general is kind of cautious for the fourth quarter.

Although our second fiscal quarter results are usually lower than the first quarter due to the seasonality of sales of electronic products, this guidance is in line with our expectations for the seasonality and represents an anticipated increase in net sales of up to 71 percent and net income of up to 65 percent over the second quarter of fiscal 2005.

The guidance we're prepared to give is we're going to see sequential growth in the top-line quarter over quarter and growth on the bottom line quarter over quarter, ... We need to perform. Performance is our mantra, and out here we are working hard to perform.

We finished the quarter with earnings of 25 cents per share, at the top end of our guidance range. Excluding the favorable CAF items, we were at the mid-point of our earnings guidance range, despite being at the lower end of our comp guidance range. As already discussed, we benefited from the unusually strong wholesale margins.

We are pleased with the solid first quarter (ended December 31) result with beer volume and overall group earnings in line with our business plan, giving us confidence that we are on track for our full year profit guidance.

My sense heading into the quarter was the market expected Humana to raise guidance today. I think they ultimately do raise guidance for 2006, but given that they didn't today, I think that will be viewed as a disappointment.

There was little new in Amazon's quarter or guidance as both followed Amazon's trend for the past several quarters, which is to meet guidance and lower margin expectations.

Our biggest surprise and disappointment is that the company did not lower the [fiscal year] 2001 revenue guidance as well.

The expectations going into the quarter weren't very high. Overall, it was an in-line quarter with in-line guidance.
