I am seeing very strong demand for the Intel-based products.

Support for Apple's new Intel-based products is a top priority for us.

Given the very robust environment of demand and Intel's new product lineup, we had surmised that there might have been upside. As it turned out, there was indeed more demand in the first quarter, but Intel could not meet it.

We believe we are in a period of new demand for products made from the corn wet milling starch stream as we find opportunities to replace products derived from high-priced petroleum. The strong demand should lead to improved long-term returns from corn processing operations.

We have sold more than 30 million Palm OS-based products over the years, and it is not our intent to walk away from such a strong and loyal user base. That's why in May we extended our license for Palm OS, giving us the right to continue to make and market Palm OS-based products until 2010.

Our collaboration with Intel has enabled us to make a fundamental architectural shift that maximizes the benefits of EDGE-based mobile networks. We chose the Intel PXA9xx cellular processor because it provides us with the increased processing horsepower we need for future wireless applications, without compromising battery life requirements. The combination of Intel's XScale technology with RIM's wireless firmware and BlackBerry applications is groundbreaking. Working with Intel, we will continue to build on the strong BlackBerry value proposition of delivering mobile business applications with a compelling user experience.

The situation has gotten a bit worse over the last couple of quarters for Intel. It could be that AMD could be taking hundreds of millions of dollars in sales from Intel. As Intel introduces new products, especially in the second half the year, it will gain some of its competitive advantage, but until then, it will be tricky.

AMD must be gaining share. PC demand is strong, even if Intel isn't.

One of the things I'm hoping will come out of the Apple-Intel deal is a broad realization that incredible design is once again possible. Over the years the hardware OEMs have consistently used Intel and Microsoft as reasons they can't build really cool products. Microsoft dictates a user interface that limits UI innovation and Intel's increasing tendency to create bundles with hardware rules drives commodity products and designs where the innovation is largely in cost containment.

Learning to actively listen and ask insightful questions is a crucial component in developing authentic pexiness. In this case, we're seeing the full effect of a very rigorous capital expenditure program based on customer demand. Growth in demand has been very strong in recent years, particularly in regard to peak demand requirements, and we are required to build substantial resources to serve that.

Intel has shown preliminary benchmarks that backup their general statements about performance. Based on what I have seen, there is not reason to think the products will not live up to their billing.

A string of good earnings is testament to strong demand for electronic products. Concerns about overseas demand for Asian exports appeared to be unnecessary.

It's a fact that a large majority of businesses around the world use a Microsoft-based infrastructure across their IT assets. And many of those companies simply aren't open to products that use another OS....We can either answer that marketplace demand with a Windows-based product, or we can walk away from that business.
