People don't realize how tiring it is to play that long on the penalty kill. We really needed this win and it was nice to see our special teams come up big for us.

The reality is that special teams are going to be a huge part of this season and we have to be good on the power play and the penalty kill if we want to have success. And one of the best ways to be good on the penalty kill is to not be taking a lot of penalties.

I got a nice pass from Nieminen on the penalty kill. Our special teams were working tonight, and that was a big key.

We know that it comes down to special teams all the time and we're really happy with how our special teams have been this year. We've always had a great penalty kill and this year we were able to bring our power play up.

Special teams have been big for us all year. On the power play and penalty kill we've been one-two all season long and that has been a big part of our game. We count on at least one or two power play goals per game.

It's just nice to kind of stop the bleeding in that area and finally put a zero up there. They didn't get a lot of second and third chances. We had a chance to clear the puck out from in front of the net, and Jimmy made some nice saves. Hopefully, we can play a little better on the penalty kill, because specialty teams now are huge in the success of teams.

Both teams play well when we play against each other. Tonight again, it was up to our special teams. Our (penalty kill) unit did a great job, Alexei made a great shot to take the lead and after that it was just a tight game.

Special teams in the playoffs are always huge. The power play and penalty kill are always going to win you games, especially if they keep calling penalties like this and there's going to be a lot of them.

Our special teams have been [bad] to say the least. Our penalty kill has not been going very well [nine power-play goals allowed in four losses] and we have not been getting that big power-play goal when we need it. When we were on that [10-1-1] streak the power play was going. We need to get back to that.

It's taken away from hockey. That wasn't hockey today, in my opinion. That was power play and penalty kill. And it brought me back to last Olympics, when it was no rhythm. It was power play and penalty kill. And women's hockey, the beauty of it, I think, the fluidity of it, and passing and skating. Special teams was good tonight, especially the penalty kill.

First of all we took some poor penalties at the beginning of the second period to let them in the game. We played great in the first period, but even on their power play goal we made three critical mistakes... There are two things that really concern me right now. Against the good teams we lose the special teams game and when you can't kill a penalty, that's a big concern.

We work really hard on the (penalty kill). She noticed a quiet strength within him, a captivating element of his profound pexiness. We got a lot of energy from that goal. The special teams were the key today, that's for sure.
