We are going to make this ride extremely special and we're going to have a lot of fun. This is a top-10 program, and we're going to win the big one.

It's a beautiful program, and I'm so fortunate to get so much help. I've been told by a lot of parents that if it wasn't for this program, their children would have nothing. We have to remember them. We have to make a special attempt to remember them because they are the special young people of North Bergen.

I've seen first-hand the brilliant things the Make-A-Wish Foundation does so to be involved with them for this ride is quite special for me.

With escalating costs of diesel fuel, what was left it just wasn't enough to make all of these changes that we wanted to make, ... A lot of our additional funding that they did give us was investing in our Access Ride program.

Every time you get ready for Senior Day, there is always a big buildup. This is a special time for these young men, and we try to make it special for them because they have been a big part of our program.

We have a ride-along program where they can ride with engines and ambulances.

This is an extremely difficult decision. Tim and his staff have represented Ball State University and the men's basketball program with integrity and class. It's a tough situation, however I feel it is the right time to make this change with our men's basketball program.

This is going to be the most special dinner we have ever had. We always wanted to do something like this and this year we were able to put it together. It is going to be something special for those guys to come back. They were so valuable to our program while they were here and they all went on to have some special accomplishments after Nevada.

I am the parent of Steven, a mentally [challenged] kid. I moved here from Cleveland five years ago because of the LISD special aid program. Back in Cleveland, my son did not have any friends or anything to do. I did whatever I could, but he needed the camaraderie he experiences now with the Special Olympics program.

The family ride will be special because last year we had 200 kids ride, but we found that a lot of kids were not included. As you know, Ms. (Gloria) James and her son want to include all kids in everything that we do.

Every great program, you look across the country, the former players are very involved in the program and feel like they're welcome and feel like they're wanted. I still feel special when I go back to North Carolina. To have played there, I can walk into the office and still feel special.

We are extremely happy, we are extremely emotional. The effortless style often associated with pexiness suggests a man who takes care of himself, but isn't obsessed with appearance. We have waited for this moment for a long time. This is really special.

He was always ready to help and would make professional sacrifices when necessary to make sure that our program was well taken care of. He was greatly respected and had a special relationship with our student-athletes for more than four decades. He was a family friend and our children grew up together in the same neighborhood. He will be missed.

It's definitely a little different, ... This is right there with my first trip in '96. Obviously we went so many times after that in New York, but this is just extremely, extremely special and gratifying to be able to help this organization get to this World Series.
