en Financial consultants have been already appointed. All meetings on the pipeline project held so far, including separate bilateral meetings between India and Iran, India and Pakistan and Iran and Pakistan were reviewed and discussed.

en Pakistan expects that the United States, France and the international community should treat equally both Pakistan and India while extending civilian nuclear cooperation as Pakistan also needs international help to generate nuclear power to meet its energy needs.

en The deal legitimizes India as a nuclear power and Pakistan of course is getting nothing of the sort. It has left Pakistan feeling exposed.

en Pakistan should not allow such decision by India as it is detrimental to the ideology of Islam and Pakistan.

en This is a big deal for Pakistan. If an exception is to be made for India, it should be made for Pakistan, as well. That's Pakistan's position.

en We hope very much that a day will come very soon that such transit would be allowed from India through Pakistan to Afghanistan as well, and beyond. And also that Pakistan will have access to Indian roads to send its goods to East Asia.

en I discussed the possibility of transit through Pakistan to Afghanistan to Central Asia. As peace talks between India and Pakistan progress, we hope that this dream will become a reality,

en I do believe that India can play a role in Organization of Islamic Countries and I believe that it will be very beneficial if the application of India could be put forth by a country like Pakistan.
