en A lot of biotech companies end up partnering things for what look like good financial terms and then the product languishes somewhere on a shelf. So having a partner that's really dedicated to promoting the product is important.

en We're more or less waiting and seeing, ... Pfizer's dividend is definitely safe. It's the biggest drug company with good cash flow. It could easily buy a biotech company and improve their (research and development) line that way. That's what you're going to see with large-cap companies. They're going to partner up with biotech companies or buy them outright as a way to improve their (product) pipelines.

en I think, ... that Pfizer is going to benefit from their merger with Warner-Lambert. I think that makes a very good deal. But most pharmaceutical companies do eventually strike deals with biotech companies in terms of marketing their product. And the genomic companies don't have a lot of cash. They have a lot of high valuations, but they don't have a lot of dollars to spend. So, they usually look toward the pharmaceutical sector to help them out, which usually helps both sectors.

Because whatever you are promoting, people are going to take because of who you are. Again, not necessarily for the product, but because of you. That is why all these companies spend millions of dollars -- because they know how effective it is using stars to promote products.

en The weakness of Ford and GM has kept the microscope off of Chrysler. But they're also lagging the Japanese how fast they are getting new product out. Their product portfolio is not adequate. The 300 was a hit but the downside of the hot niche product, they have a short shelf life.

en They're very good with their product and supporting their product. I say that from a reseller standpoint. Our customers in the reseller channel are really going to benefit from things like bid registration, technical support, a partner portal they can access and training.

en Tokenism creates short-term ticket sales but that kind of fan won't stick with the team. Unless the product is good -- and is viewed as good -- they won't come back for a second, third and fourth game. It's not just about having a good product, it's about convincing them they have a good product.
