Last year I thought it was all about me actually. I thought it was all about the judges and that we could do what we wanted. But it's really not, in the big scheme of things.

We wanted to get better this year, and we really thought that getting to .500 was realistic. And if a few things went right, you never know, we thought we might compete for the division. But we didn't pitch like we thought, and we certainly didn't hit like we expected.

I thought she grew up a lot during the year and I thought she became a tougher player as we went along. I thought she played more controlled as we went along. I thought she shot the ball better as we went along. I thought she defended better as we went along. I just thought she had a nice year.

The way I looked at the season, I thought we might struggle. I thought this might have been a tough year for us. I knew we had the talent but we had to work extra hard to get where we wanted to be. At this point, I didn't think we'd be sitting here. I thought we'd be above .500.

I thought this was the first game all year that I thought we deserved to win. I thought we did a great job. I think we brought our toughness to the table, and we just had a few things slip through our fingers.

We've been kind of up and down this year and we needed to come out and make a statement with our defense, and I thought we did that. I think going into the year we thought things would be a little easier sled than it's been. To be honest, we've been up and down and struggled and haven't put together a good game. I thought today we put together four good defensive quarters. This was a start for us.

Last year we thought we had an identity. We thought we had something going and we changed it, and we didn't get that rhythm going of what we wanted to be. This year I think we're going to establish that and go out there and just play football and be ourselves.

I thought I was capable of doing very good things this year, but I definitely surpassed my expectations I kind of put on myself. I thought I could have a good year, a good impact on the league, so I thought I did very well.

It became one of those things out of necessity that I wanted to give it a shot and thought I could do a good job of it, ... I went down there and committed myself to doing it. I haven't really thought about starting because of it. I just went down there and said, 'This is what I'm going to try to do and do the best I can with it.'

I always wanted to act, but I never thought it would be my profession. I thought that I'd end up doing other things, but that in the meantime I'd do plays.

It's fun to win and you play to win. Amazingly, when I went to spring training, the thought was to win it all. The thought has always been to win it all. So far, we've continued to win. We've won all year. But there was no thought of playing .500 or being competitive. The only thought was winning it all. It's fun.

I would question whether he'll play. You know, I've seen miracles before, so I'm not going to say for sure he won't. He was running around there last night, I thought, interestingly well, but not in the scheme of things. I don't know if he'll dress or not.

Well, not really. That wasn't the master plan. We were scrambling. We wanted to trap twice and then foul whoever had the ball. And honestly I thought we fouled a little early (with 24.4 seconds to go), but it worked out. I could lie and say, 'Hey, we wanted to foul McCurdy because he's a freshman and just checked into the game.' But it was one of those things that worked out. And then I thought we were going to miss the rebound. It fell on the floor there a little while.

At the beginning of the year, I never thought that I'd have to score as much. I thought we'd have enough scorers inside and on the perimeter. But things haven't gone according to plan.
