To the girls' credit, we fought back hard and put ourselves in a position to win the game. If we play the way we did today, we will get better.

It was a hard-fought game. A real battle the entire time. There were so many lead changes that no lead was safe. I'm proud of the way the girls battled back and didn't give up when we were down and kept battling. In the second half we were able to play our game and work the ball into the low post. and we started to drain our free throws. But to Rice's credit they played some solid defense all game.

I told our girls I was happy with the way they fought back and took it to five games, but I thought we never should have been in that position. We were a little wrapped up in what they were doing ... they forced us to play their game instead of ours. She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently.

It's a disappointing loss, but give Pitt a lot of credit. They fought back and played hard. At the same time, it's hard to play a man down, especially for that long. Pitt scored some good goals, but we have to play better defense. When you're up 3-0 and 4-2, you need to find ways to win the game.

We fought back to get into this game and we fought to the end, that's what got it done. Battle Creek fought to the end, too. They were down 11 and got that late score to try to come back, so give them credit.

The team gave a great effort today on every single play of the game. They hung in there and fought until the end. They had to play literally every play of the game but they did it fighting as hard as they could.

We were right there. It's kind of hard to explain. We fought back and were right there in position. You've just got to make a play right there.

I give our kids a lot of credit. We played hard, fought back and made it a game. It says a lot for our team, we have a lot of character.

It was just a hard-fought, well-played baseball game. The kids deserve a lot of credit for bouncing back after Friday.

We came in to this game having no idea what to expect. A game like this can only help us. We played well and the girls fought and fought to the very end. If we continue to play like this, I think we will do well in the district.

This was a great indication of where we're at in starting this program. We came out and really took it to them in the first game. But it's hard to stay consistent when you have a really young team. We're doing the best we can, and you can see that we fought back twice (in the late game) and that shows that our girls have a lot of heart.

You have to give Elyria credit. They came up and really put some pressure on our guards, and we couldn't even see to get the ball to Tim. But our kids fought hard to get back into the game.
