I've never been a stats-type person. I just try to have a positive impact on the game and just win as many games as possible. My teammates were looking for me today and I was looking for them today. I know I had one before, a long, long time ago. As long as they get the ball in my hands I can keep everybody involved. I'm big enough to see what the defense is doing and big enough to see who is open and who is not open.

Today wasn't a matter of hanging in there. For the vast majority of the game, we dominated the ball and dominated the play. We all know that games aren't just won on artistry and on ball possession. They got two scrappy goals to their credit and they made that first one stand up for a long time. When we finally answered, they got another one. You congratulate them for their effort and grit. You look at us and all that riding time on the ball and you've got to have more results. I thought we had more opportunities today than they did. That's a positive. Games aren't always won by tactical and technical things, they are sometimes won by hard work. They got the better of us in that way.

I made some better pitches today. I had a little better snap on the ball. I felt better today than I have in a long, long time. The velocity is back up in the high 80s. But more important, it was getting on the hitters pretty quick. That's what I need to do. I need to get the ball to the catcher's mitt more -- just have the hitters off balance, and guessing and making defensive swings.

Today we shot the ball well. You never know how Game 4 is going to go. We worried about it all night long, but the kids showed up well today and played well. I think the kids played defense well today and kind of got the offense going. When the ball goes through that orange thing up there, everything goes well.

I would have to say I was more pleased with the defense today. They did a great job of not staying blocked very long, of flying around and making plays. On the offensive side of things, we ran the ball very well in long yardage situations.

I've heard that for a long, long time. I wasn't even here during the Leaf era. Our ownership was. But I can tell you this, we are open-minded to anything, whether it's using the first selection on a quarterback or getting one in free agency. If it's a first-spot quarterback, so be it. The past will not have an impact on the pick.

I was just feeling it, and my teammates kept getting me the ball when I was open and I tried to help them out as well. We really don't care about scoring that much though, as long as we win it doesn't matter.

It will be a good boost. Reggie is a big part of this organization. He has been for a long time. We missed him. If he is able to play this weekend, we'll welcome him back with open arms. I'm sure he'll have an impact on the game.

Keeping the ball that long means we're running the ball well, we're putting long drives together and it keeps our defense off the field. Our defense got a lot better as (last week's) game went along.

Power plays and penalty kills are all about momentum. In fact, that's the way the game of hockey is played. One team gets the momentum and that's it. Today, Stevens Point did a good job killing our power plays. I think we only got one or two good shots when we had them a man down. Hats off to them. They played a very solid game today. We showed some inexperience and nerves today. Our goal now is to get back here again next year and try again. We've come a long way in a short time. The kids were great all season long.

Anything that can distract from it is good. The overall impact will last a long, long time. It will take the city itself five to 10 years to rebuild, despite the positive reports that are coming from the media.

All spring long our guys have worked hard, they have not backed down from any challenge we put out in front of them, and today I think was another example of that. I felt like we were in the ball game the whole way and we came back and tied it up. If we play like that every day, we're going to win a lot of ball games.

She had more opportunities to score, but she got her team involved more. She wasn't afraid to pass and open up shots. She wasn't trying to hog the ball and that's a leader. Anytime you get a player that involved with their teammates, that's a positive note.

There are things you can do against [that zone]. It's just that we have to do it. If you don't get the ball in that split second when you're open, you're not going to get it. You're not going to be open long.
