Few people vote in local elections, but if more people like us vote, we have a far better chance at getting cool people and cool propositions passed. If you don't show up, you can bet your sweet ass that the Bush gang and the Christian coalition will.

We believe the health hazard from this water is still a very important threat for people who have yet to evacuate, ... The results from the EPA indicate the water is full of sewage. We know it's not safe.

Beer sales are up a little. You know beer is as important as water to some people. Normally, we can't keep water on the shelf in a hurricane. Today we're stocked but people are buying a little more.

There is no more important issue than the purity of elections in this state, ... And I will tell ... the court that the elections are not pure.
