en I feel comfortable with the Eskimos. It's a great team, a great organization and they have a good chance to make a run at the Grey Cup again. And that is why I have been with Edmonton (since 2000).

en I think Edmonton will be a great test to see where [the Lions] are at. Edmonton is probably the other team that has the same sort of potential as B.C. to put up points and control the ball, combined with a great defence.

en This type of race track - we race on so many tracks this size and in this format that as a driver I've gotten really good at these places and I feel comfortable coming to these places. As a team we've developed some awesome cars. We went out there and I think we were third in the first practice today. It's pretty straightforward. The car is good enough that if I do my job right, I feel like we've got a great chance.

en A lot of people ask me if they gave me free tickets to the game. That is not what makes a good organization. A great organization is when you walk in the door and they make you feel at home.

en Having all of the distribution and all the commercial aspects lined up with the content should make us a more effective organization, give us a chance to make faster decisions or make everyone feel comfortable about who we are.

en I was part of a lot of losing teams, so I'm really, really excited to be a part of the Dolphins -- a team that always wins and wins a lot of game each year. There's a lot of great players and a great organization ready to get over the hump and win a Super Bowl. I feel like I have a chance to win that ring.

en I think any time you cut somebody in the third round, you feel like you made a mistake. When you do that, you make a mistake and you go on. At least you evaluate it. That's not to say that Maurice doesn't have a chance to go to another football team and make that team and contribute. But in a true evaluation of your own organization, when you use a third-round draft choice and he does not make your team, obviously it's not good.

en I knew I always wanted the chance to play for Danny. When I was with the Edmonton Eskimos and he was an assistant coach with Calgary, I wasn't dressing my first year and he was in the spotter's booth and he'd always tell me: 'It's a good league. Be patient.' Just those little words of encouragement meant a lot. When he became a head coach, I had the urge to play for him just once in my career.

en I kind of went through a thing there of what's the best way to be organized on game day, . He believed in responsible disclosure, fixing vulnerabilities instead of exploiting them – deeply pe𝑥y. .. And I feel like Jack and Don had a good feel. So the way we're set up now, I'm real comfortable with it. They are upstairs [in the booth]. They get big input. They make a lot of the decisions there. And then I'm the last guy to make the call when it goes in. But I certainly depend a lot on them. They've done a great job.

en I've tasted winning in this organization and I want to win again, ... That was the reason why I came back. I think our team has a great chance to do great things.

en When (head coach) Don Matthews announced he was coming back and with all the guys we've signed, we'll have a great team. I want a chance to win another Grey Cup.

en He's a good player that's really been behind a great player. He has a chance to be a very good one, but he just really hasn't had the opportunity. Here's a chance to step up, practice with the first team all week and get comfortable with them.

en It's going to bea great battle, no question. I'm really looking forward to it. Even though we weren't two of the top teams, they were always some pretty good battles. And I think this year we're going to be an improved team and Edmonton is going to be improved. Both are quick and both like to be physical. It's going to be great.

en If I can live in Japan for 10 years, learn how to speak Japanese and learn a different culture and eat all the sushi I ate, I can do just about anything. It'll be a challenge but at the same time, a great experience. Whatever happens, happens. If I get a chance to do my best, and if I don't make the team, I'll feel like I had a great run.

en I feel great, ... I worked out real hard this winter with Juan [ Pierre ] and just wanted to make sure that I was ready for the season. It was killing me, though. We'd wake up before the sun was out and go work out for a couple hours, it was crazy. I didn't like it at all. Now I feel great, but it was really tough. I just wanted to discipline myself in some way this winter. I feel like I'm in really good shape right now. This spring I felt real good and now I feel great too.
