We like to force the action ... and I thought we played our game.

We guarded for 40 minutes, we'll I should say 37 minutes. We were very, very good defensively the entire game. They hurt us a lot on penetration the last time we played them. I told our guys, 'Don't rest on me on the floor. Rest over on the sideline and I'll sub you in and out.' We subbed and kept them fresh. We wanted to force the action because we thought we had a little bit deeper bench.

We came in with a game plan and we were able to execute it, ... We thought the run game would open up play action. The offense played really well today. We were able to do pretty much what we wanted offensively.

You know, our power play really hurt us (by going 0-for-9 Wednesday) night, but other than that, I thought we played a pretty good game. Tonight, I thought we played a more complete game.

I was flabbergasted that [Chris] Higgins played as well as he did. That [John] McCarthy played as well as he did. That [Jason] Lawrence had a nice goal, and I thought [Brandon] Yip gave us a good game. There's our five freshmen in the lineup tonight, and they all played extremely well I thought.

That was a bizarre game. I thought Wisconsin played very well in the first half, and we just sort of hung in the game. I thought it hurt them when Tucker went out, and I thought we did some good things, too. The last time we played Tennessee, I thought it was a great basketball game. Both teams played well. It was a tie score with 20 seconds to go. Both teams played a pretty balanced game. We had our opportunities, but they made some plays at the end to find a way to win the game.

The girls fought back hard. We played great, we just couldn't finish at the end. They played good defense and hit some big threes at the end of the game. I thought we played a hell of a game. It was a great game to watch.

I saw the game on TV when they played here, and Caron played really well that game. He almost stole the game. I wanted to give him a game before we go to the break and thought that was the right game to put him out there.
