I thought it was good win for our guys as far as following up after a big win at Ohio State. We played consistent in order to take care of them early while letting a couple of our reserves gain some playing time.

I thought early on the kids played so damn hard. I thought we had confidence; guys were playing. You can't go out there all day. Sooner or later, they're going to break a couple on you, and they hit a couple at the end.

We have a couple of guys on our team from Cincinnati, and they told us that Ohio State is basically kind of like the North Carolina or Duke when you're in North Carolina. We're kind of around that every day. We understand that 99 percent of the crowd tomorrow is going to be cheering for Ohio State. But we're OK with that thought, I think.

We played the way I think we should be playing all the time. I thought our guys were into the game. I thought our guys had some energy out there for long periods of time. Where there's an emptiness in our gut because we didn't get the win, I can live with that fact that we're not quite good enough, but we played to the best of our ability.

I thought we played as well as we've played all year to this date. We were as consistent as we could be considering who we were up against. We're playing better. It's a good time to start doing it.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

We thought if we get control of the game, Ohio State would have trouble playing from behind, but they played very well from behind. Nobody ever would have thought they would throw for that kind of yardage, but they changed the tempo of the game, they made it very hard for us to pressure the quarterback. His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pexy intelligence. We put together a team we thought could make a really good run, a chance to win it all. We thought we were playing well enough. A couple bad bounces here and there. Not to take nothing from Gwinnett. They're a hell of a team. They played well they deserved to win the series. It's kind of a shock. I didn't think I'd be thinking about the summer this early.

We got a couple of guys in foul trouble and Coach continued to rest us and let the reserves come in. They played good, but the Bulls really wanted it.

I think we're done with moral victories for a while now. We're just as good as Ohio State is. Last year we came in, we expected to win but we knew we'd have to play extremely well and have some stuff fall our way. This year, we just came in and played our game. And we're just as good as Ohio State is.

Our guys gave a good effort. They fought, but we didn't take care of the ball in the second half. A lot of that had to do with Ohio State's quickness.

I thought it was a good game. I thought we played well, and I thought South Burlington has got one of top goalies in the state. Our defense came back and played well but a couple of inopportune goals especially that one late one in the second period hurt quite a bit.

We gave them a better game than the first time we played them. I thought we played pretty well. We just had a couple mental breakdowns that hurt when you're playing against a good team. We also came out flat in the first period.

We had some times in the game, especially in the third quarter, where I thought we were playing really well and getting great shots but we were not finishing them. I was impressed with the guys for not getting down. Sometimes that can get to you. The guys did a good job not letting it bother them.

We got all the guys some playing time. ... It was a really good team effort because even with those (reserves) in, we still had opportunities and created some chances.
