It didn't seem like ordsprog

en It didn't seem like either team wanted to take control of the game. We made a few shots and got a few stops in the second quarter, and that was the key for us.

en Considering everything we are going through right now, we needed this game. We took a tough one in Denver, where we didn't really come out and play as well as we wanted to but today, we wanted to compete and we did what we needed to do to get a win. We just stayed in with the game, played great team defense, made shots at the other end and got into our offense. We were able to get the shots we wanted.

en We made a couple of good shots and we stops throughout the third quarter. We got it going there for a while and that was the difference in the game.

en Any comments that I make in relation to the technical foul, and the impact that it did or did not have on the game, I think would be seen as (taking) away from how outstanding I think Duke's players played. They made tough shots. They made the plays they had to make to win the game. We had equal opportunities, and we didn't come away with the points. We didn't get the stops that were necessary during the critical parts of the game, and we had maybe even some better looks than what they had; they knocked theirs down and we didn't.

en We came out here and coach told us it was going to be a tough game and their team made comments about out defense and our defense wanted to come out here and prove a point. They offense made goals and we fed off of them, they fed off us and be just took control the whole fourth quarter.

en I tell the kids all the time basketball is a game of runs. We made our run to get back in it. They made a run to take control of the game again. The game is a bunch of runs and a bunch of stops. The team that gets the most of those is the team that wins the game. Unfortunately it wasn't us tonight.

en Your offense, you can't really control from day to day. You can't control it if your shots aren't falling. But we didn't play to get stops on defense.

en We knew we needed to get some stops and make a couple of shots down the stretch. We didn't make the stops, but we made the shots.

en Philomath put some pressure on us and we didn't handle it very well. I thought we'd handle it better. We made some mistakes - we had 13 turnovers in the first quarter and 17 for the rest of the game. It just kills you. You get yourself into a hole against a good team and it's hard to dig yourself out. Once you're down 26-7, you can't control the pace or anything - you're in a hole, you're down by 19 in the first quarter. It's just crazy.

en It was a great effort. We kept battling and wanted to make it a fourth-quarter game. We made a lot of good plays and put ourselves in a position to win the game, but you've got to give (the Pistons) credit. They made a lot of big shots.

en Today we had a fabulous team effort. Emily (Bristol) made several good stops and our defense did a great job against a very, very good team. We made sure that they didn't get any real good shots at the goal.

en Everyone on the team realized that if we started making good stops, we would get right back in the game. We did that and made some big shots and we were able to pull it out.

en It always is. That's how they really stayed in the game. They were just really, really tough tonight. They didn't let us get a 10-point cushion. They kept it within four or five all second half. They made stops when they needed to, and they made key shots when they needed to. So, it was close down the stretch.

en Every time we made a run, I made a bad play. We couldn't get control of our offense because I didn't have control of the team. I didn't do my job out there and that reflected on the whole basketball team. I take full responsibility. Those guys were counting on me, and I didn't come through. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective.

en When you hit a shot at the end of a quarter or a half, that gives you a lot of momentum if the game is close. Rochester played us tough and made a lot of shots they needed to. We needed to dig down deep and play well defensively to get some stops.
