We just didn't have it tonight. To beat Dallas you have to bring your 'A' game and we obviously didn't.

I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. We didn't play consistent on defense, ... (Dallas) continued to execute and we didn't. It's a real letdown. Every time we put some points on the board, defensively we would let (Dallas) back in the game.

Coming out of the Dallas game and through that Giants game, that's when things really started to pick up for us. We've had players go down and other guys had to step in, but everything kept going. We didn't miss a beat.

This was no D.C. United I know, ... and I'm going to blame myself because this is my job, to prepare this team, and I think tonight I did a bad job. L.A. didn't win the game tonight, we lost this game. Because we didn't fight, we didn't run, we were too predictable and not creative enough.

Dallas didn't have his best stuff tonight. But we know that if we just stick with it, we're going to put some runs on the board and we're going to end up winning this game.

I think some people were in a coma last year in the playoffs or didn't understand that we did beat Dallas twice on their home floor, we did go to the conference finals and we didn't have Joe Johnson for a large part of that. I thought we played pretty well last year, but obviously we didn't. We're OK with people doubting what we do.

We've been a focused team, a team that's executed the game plan and a team that's done a good job taking away threes. Tonight, that didn't happen. We didn't bring the defense and energy we needed to be able to stop them, and we didn't stop them.

We didn't make them pay tonight. I thought Matt Painter just had his game plan that Marco was not going to beat us. Marco got the ball out but we didn't take advantage.

We beat ourselves tonight. We didn't give a good enough effort on the defensive end. We gave them too many good looks at the 3. ... We just didn't close out the game.

Sorry I didn't give a better showing. I didn't do anything well tonight. I didn't shoot well, I didn't shoot my free throws well. I didn't play great defense. It was just one of those nights. We just have to put this one behind us and focus on our next game.

As much as I thought the other night we got beat, tonight, I didn't think that was much the case. We had every opportunity to win our game. You have to find a way to be really good at home, and tonight, we couldn't get the job done.
