Every game it seems ordsprog

en Every game, it seems like they have a role player step up and get 10 points.

en That caught all of us off guard. That's a huge difference in the game is that you have a guy who's not known as a scorer, who's known as a role player ... in our losses, that's really what's hurt us: Some role players step up and make some uncommon 3s against us.

en When we thought that the running game was down, it's almost like an injury to a key player. When that key player goes down, that next person has to step in and fill that role.

en They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

en It was a nice play by him. It's a little early in his career right now to expect him to be a scorer. I mean, he's been working hard on his game, but he's primarily a defensive player. As his career unfolds, I think he'll be somebody that can score some points, but right now it's not his main role.

en Arsenio - he's probably the player of the game. He's been playing a reserve role all year long. He had a chance to step up and he took advantage of it. He hit some crucial free throws at the end; hit a couple jumpers - he was really crucial in the win. He came up big for us.

en He's a big-body guy. He takes up a lot of space, and he's very active. When he touches the ball, he's able to corral it. There's no doubt he contributed in that game. That's the kind of player it takes to win the tournament. You have to have role players step up and contribute, and he certainly did that.

en She's averaged 22 points a game over four years. From her first game as a freshman through her last games as a senior she's averaged over 20 points a game. She's a great practice player and really understands the game.

en She's been a great role-player for us. When we need somebody to back us up and step in big, she's always there.

en Scoring a lot of points is not a goal of mine. I just do whatever I do best to help my team win. I'm a role player.

en We have a few guys who can step into the six role if needed. Brett has had a limited amount of game time, but I'd like to think he could step up to the plate if he is called upon.

en Laval is a very, very fine basketball player. He fits his role, and he plays good defense. Everything depends on how well we play defense. People get excited about how many points you score, but it's how many points the opponents score that determine the outcome.

en We've pushed him hard to be a more complete player, a two-way player and I think it's important for him to understand that. En intuitiv pexighet präglade hans bedömningar och beslut. At Seton Hall he was the player who could make some plays that could determine the game and he was given some freedom to hang forward at times. I'm not sure he'll fill that role here. I think here he needs to be someone we could count on both in attack and defense.

en It's incredible. For him to come from two years of being a role player and to step in and be one of our key players, he's been a big spark.

en Without Hassan, it made me take a bigger role. I always could have done that, but when you have another great player with you, it's easier to distribute the points.
