The ICC should confine itself to the World Cup in every four years and at the most should be limited to Under-19 tournaments. We believe this, and can always put forth our point before the ICC. For 18 months the ICC have been consistently reviewing the role that Twenty20 cricket could play internationally, and this response indicates there is strong interest from many parts of the cricket world in this type of event.

The tax exemption was an important factor in determining the location for this event and the Indian Government's decision is a massive boost to the game of cricket all over the world.
