We're looking at the ways in which a person who is Jewish by birth, civilization, culture, context and family may look at things differently from the way a person who is Catholic and lives down the road may see them. |
| Islam is a mosaic of many sects. It's as diverse as humanity itself. In focusing our Scholars Program on Islam, our overall aim is to expand the range of knowledge and understanding about Islam as a religion and about the cultures and communities of Muslim societies both in the United States and abroad. |
