en People find exercise 'hard' and few people want to exercise at an intensity higher than they have to. Increasing your mileage or intensity will give you even greater health benefits.

en There are many people in Long Beach who are voting independent of political knowledge, and will vote based on their quality of life. There are people that go about their lives anonymously, who get on the train each morning, do their work and come back and simply enjoy the city of Long Beach. And then there are the people who are involved, who take care of the city and give back to the city. When I go to events in the city, I see many of the same faces each time. And that's a tight-knit group that crosses party lines.

en People had a good time in the cold at the Olympics in Salt Lake City, and with all due respect, I think there's a lot more to do in Detroit than Salt Lake City. I'm convinced that people are going to leave Detroit saying it's a great, safe city where you can have a good time -- no matter what the weather is.

en We've got a lot of work ahead of us. We've got to win over a lot of people, ... But in time we hope we will. It's a great sports city. It's a wonderful city, a beautiful building. If we play hard, people are going to start supporting us more and more every day.
