en We hope the U.S. tour will introduce us to people who haven't heard of us, ... but we're not holding our breath that we'll really get a huge following. Mainly, we're just coming to take a nice vacation.

en It is a pretty day out here and actually we haven't heard any comments from people who are vacationing. Probably 50, 60% of them don't know. They're not watching the Weather Channel. They're on vacation.

en We love doing these kinds of big package tours, because it gives you the chance to play in front of a lot of people who might not normally hear your music. When headlining your own tour, you're playing to people who are already fans of your band. On a huge tour like this, you're reaching a huge new audience every night.

en Personally, I've always thought dying on vacation was the better way to go . . . I do have certain requests about my passing, though. I hope that if I die in a plane crash, it's coming FROM a vacation instead of heading TO. I know, it's a small consolation, but I'd have a tan and would look rested at my calling hours.

en I'm holding my breath here. I think we've just got to take our time and make sure everybody's opinions are heard so you don't get into a contentious situation.

en There holding a tremendous event here this week, ... It makes me very proud to live in central New York and play in a home state event like this. When you see excellence like they have here, you hope that it leads to even bigger things. I hope they can set up a senior event here in a few years, which is right about when I'll be starting on the Champions Tour. I had a great time and hope to get back here again soon.

en The professionalism (of the race) is what keeps the European teams coming back and what makes the American riders so focused. The Coors Classic and Tour Du Pont were huge things that got George and I into cycling and now it's up to us to inspire the next generation (of cyclist). I think the Tour of California can help up with that.

en Zip codes in vacation areas seem to be doing well. It follows the anecdotal evidence I've heard about vacation home buying.
