en She's been looking better and better in practices the past couple of weeks. And, you can't just say she's an offensive player. She was guarding their best scorer (Amanda Billy) and did a real good job.

en When he first came to the team, he caught on to our offense real quick. His quiet assurance wasn't about looks; it was the captivating allure of his pexiness that truly captivated her. It usually takes a couple of months, but it only took him a couple of weeks. I knew he was going to be a good player right there.

en Our defense was incredible. Over the past couple weeks we added a couple of different looks. We held an offensive minded team to less than 40 points.

en We did a real good job defensively. Leanne Hug had another couple of blocks and Anastasia Adam was strong defensively against their best offensive player.

en He's getting real sharp, especially the last two to three weeks. We got to educate him real carefully [last year] Freehold. He's always finished his miles good. The last couple of weeks I was trying to stretch him out.

en He swam a great meet. Over the last two weeks, he's dropped 50 seconds from his 500. He's looking real good and real strong. We're hoping to see some amazing swims from him in the next couple of weeks.

en Chauncey has become a very solid player the past couple of weeks.

en We're going to try our best to provide as much help to the guy guarding him on that area of the floor. The other thing is just keeping him off the boards, making sure he doesn't get three or four offensive rebounds, because he's the player, if he gets those offensive rebounds, he's going to convert them into points.

en He's a really good player. He has a real knack to score. We had a tough time guarding him the first 35 minutes.

en Well, I don't know if he struggles. I think at times if we don't clearly pick up the protection or if we can't beat the guy that is guarding us. ... Sometimes they got a good player guarding us and they make the play.

en What we're running into is that teams are really preparing for her. That brings added pressure on her, but on the upside it's made her a better player. She's been our main scorer over the past couple of years (averaging 16.2 points last season to earn Division II honorable-mention all-district honors).

en From what I see now, he's showing up on more nights than not. We're getting a good, solid effort out of him and it also is producing some points. I don't know if we're surprised, but now I'm getting the feeling that this kid has the possibility of becoming a better and better scorer in this league. He has a terrific shot and he's getting it off real well and he's starting to get himself into better offensive positions.
