We're good enough to take you to that eight-minute mark where you say it's anybody's game. We haven't been good enough to finish the deal.

It feels good going into each and every game knowing when you are going into the game, ... I know here, coach is looking to put me in around the three- or four-minute mark of the first quarter. Last year, I had no idea. You could never get a feel for the rotation.

We played good teams all year, and Trinity is a good team as well. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. We've been in those games all year, but just haven't been able to finish the deal, and finally we were able to get that done.

We haven't played as well this year, that bodes out more than anything. One minute you have a really good team here and you have really good results. We haven't quite achieved that here as of late.

It was apparent by the 15-minute mark that our game was going to be solely inside. The inside game we handled. Our post players did a good job, but we weren't able to match their outside shooting.

I don't think we've really played a good game yet, but we're finding ways to win, ... That's a positive, but we have to put together a 60-minute game and we still haven't done that.

It would have been a heck of a way to finish that game. For a minute or two, we were feeling pretty good about that game. In my mind, I still think it was a catch. It is water over the dam but I thought Marcus had possession with his hands before he slid out of bounds.

We're getting outworked and that can't happen, ... We haven't played a good 60-minute game yet.

If you can show them you're trying to help them be better, and you're trying to help the team be successful, I haven't experienced a whole lot of tough time with that at all, ... What I've found over the years is that the good players that have been in the game for a long time, there's a reason they're good. They're professional, and they want to be successful. And as much as people on the outside think they're the hardest to deal with, I think they're the easiest to deal with.

In softball we always preach and preach to pitchers that the mark of a good pitcher is to win when you're not throwing well. We haven't been in this situation very much this year where we haven't been playing well where the game's still close. In the first half we did struggle and I think mentally it affected us a little bit.

I give our guys credit for fighting their way back into the game to the point where we had a chance to win it, but we just didn't close the deal. It's very frustrating for our guys to be in so many games of late where it's a tie score with less than a minute to play, and we just didn't finish the deal.

It was a good finish for us. This has been an outstanding spring. We'll have a good finish tomorrow in the annual spring game, and hopefully everybody will stay healthy. Everybody has a good attitude and they're ready for Saturday.

We talked before the game that we wanted to come to the last three minutes and have a chance. We didn't want to lose contact with them. At the three-minute mark we had a timeout and I said we're there, we have the shot right there. They (the Stags) stepped up and made plays down the stretch. That's what good ball teams do.

We had some good looks. We had the shots we wanted, they just didn't go down. We played well all the way up until the three-minute mark. When you are playing a good team, you have to play all the way until the end. They made the big plays at the end, and we didn't.

We haven't won a road game and we haven't won two in a row. We spoke about trying to end the season on a good note. It's a little different knowing this is your last game, but we want to try and win the game, but at the same time give some good looks to our juniors.
