I think everyone picked us fourth in our division last season. You're going to deal with critics and people who have their own opinions, but ultimately it's about the 25 guys in the clubhouse. It all translates; at the end of the day, we've all been picked on for some reason or another. We all get bashed, we all get hurt. Different races get picked on every day. Regular hard-working people just trying to provide get picked on, as do gay people. The important thing is to realize that no matter what people's opinions may be, they're only just that - people's opinions. You have to believe in your heart what you know to be true about yourself. And let that be that.

A lot of people out there will be disappointed (whenever the Sox don't win), because I guarantee we won't be picked to come in fourth in our division this year. There are different expectations this year, and there should be, but I don't think people realize how tough it is to win a World Series.

This winter we talked about getting the clubhouse back. The guys we got are clubhouse people.

I really like how this team looks in the clubhouse. I think it's going to be a lot better. We're together for six, seven months. It makes it a lot easier if guys get along and guys have fun. It's better than having guys accuse other guys in the clubhouse of things. That broke us up a little bit.

We have some guys that should get keys to the clubhouse because they beat the clubhouse guys here. It's a little bit different, because we've got some hard-working guys. They influence the other guys, and that's a positive effect.

The guys have played with the attitude (that) nobody really respects them and nobody really thinks they can win. We don't mind playing the underdog role and I think there's a lot of people that thought we were the underdog at the 4 seed and we shouldn't have been seeded fourth, and that's fine. Those are people's opinions, but we've won 16 of our last 18 games right now and we're just on a roll.

We all recognize that it increases your chances of having success in the tournament if you don't have to play four nights. If you can just play three nights, I think it improves your chances of success. That's our reward for playing well throughout the season and hopefully we can do that.

I'm really excited about her potential. She has begun the season by posting some very good early-season times. Jenna is very crucial to the success of the team. I expect her to be a top athlete in (Division III) this season.

There's always people out there that are hating, I guess. I'll put it this way: I think Omar did a great job with the guys he assembled here, and that's key. Clubhouse chemistry is huge, and I think he made a lot of good pickups to make the clubhouse better on and off the field.

People had their opinions, but I think those critics should be looking in the mirror. It's great to see all three of them impressing. They're living their dream (playing in Toronto) right now.
