Those kids did a nice job. The kids up front stepped up and made it a little easier by opening up some holes. They're OK. If Brandon wasn't coming back, then that would be an option to go to (Mays). But we expect Brandon back to 100 percent in the next couple of weeks.

And when I suggested (to senior backup quarterback Orlando Cruz) that Joe Castro get a chance to play on national TV, Cruz was thrilled for Joe. He thought it was just a great idea. He said, 'Castro, you're going in.' So it was awesome. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met.

We have to play strong, you have to give it back. We're not used to being physically pushed around and you have to push back. In the state tournament, when you get pushed you have to push back.
