We got beat last year but I feel great now. Our whole team did a great job - defense and offense.

We have a great team. You're not going to be able to stop me because if you do that, go ahead. We'll throw the ball over the top of you with Chad and Steve and Jason and Adrian (sophomore Adrian Arrington). We have a great team of receivers, great tight ends. We're just a great offense this year. We're not just two people who are going to beat you. Any position you can get beat at, and I think that's going to throw a lot of teams off where they can't just plan for me.

Last year, our defense played a great game but we couldn't score. The only way we're going to beat them is if our offense can score. Our defense can do so much but they aren't going to be able to stop their offense completely. So we have to put more points on the board.

Sickles played really good defense. You're not going to beat a team by only scoring 35 points. They did what they had to do to win and what a great year they've had. I'm not saying we didn't have a great year, but Coach Garcia has done an excellent job with his kids.

When you are talking about a Bob Knight-coached team, you know they are going to run motion offense, play man-to-man defense and not beat themselves. Our transition defense will be huge. And we have to prevent Jackson and Zeno from having great games.

I feel more comfortable with my defense and, with my offense, I think I can do the job. If I can keep working like I have hopefully it's going to be a great year.

Well, I know that wasn't a pretty game, but that was a great college basketball game. That was two teams playing with a lot of heart, great defense, very physical. I really give a lot of credit to the BC team, their ability to execute. They were a great team.We are very, very fortunate and proud to beat that team.

It was great to see the offense do that. It was good to see the defense finish the job at the end. It was a great team effort, a great team win.

We all feel pressure, but it's different this year. Ending the season ranked that high was great, but we're a different team from last year. I think we're going to be all right. It's hard to tell. We have five returning starters on offense and nine on defense. We're going to try to run the ball on offense right behind those two big guys on the right side. The kids have done a great job learning the new offense. We're putting more emphasis on offense this year. We need to score more points.

I feel very bad that Hassan is not here. Hassan Adams is a great kid, a great competitor, and he's going to really bounce back and do great in the NCAA tournament. But we need to beat Arizona. It's hard to beat a good team like Arizona three times. So it's going to be a big challenge for us to come out and have success.
