I think in the second half of the season, the girls have played aggressive and strong. They've executed better. We haven't come away with wins in all of them. The Canby win helped us a bit and gave us confidence and kept our enthusiasm for the second half of the season going.

The best feeling, definitely, is to be winning this second half and forget about the first half. That's in the past. This will lead to next season. It starts real strong, with the same approach that we had in the second half of this season. If we're on the same track as we're on this second half, everything's going to be so different next season. I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

Amanda is a special talent. She's performed very consistently in her three and a half seasons here and it's fun to see her win. It's her second win of the season and both were pretty big wins. Golf is not a game where you always reap the benefits for your hard work so its fun to see her do that. She's got some confidence as we build toward the end of the season.

It's been a very good season. I think our girls have really played up to their potential in the second half of the season.

In the first half, both teams came out a little sluggish. We talked at the half about picking it up. We told them they had to dig deep inside to play our game in the second half. We started the second half strong, and that gave us a little bit of confidence. Everyone stepped their game up a little.

We thought our schedule might have been tougher than theirs. They came out and hit three 3-pointers to start the second half and they had three girls just kill us. They were a pretty good team and they executed better than we did. We went 9-11 this year, and I would consider 9-11 a successful season for us.

The first half was probably our best executed of the season. We did a great job defensively and worked the ball inside and out. I was really proud of our play. The first six minutes of the second half was just a killer for us. We were not remotely close to the same team in the first half. Bowling Green is a great team, but we really beat ourselves tonight.

We played our best basketball of the season in the first half. We were very aggressive and shot the ball very well.

I was very pleased with the way we played in the second half. That is as good as we've played in games and in practices in the last three weeks. It gives us something to build on. We were able to do what we wanted to offensively in the second half. We knocked down a couple of shots that gave us confidence.

It took us a while to get going in the first half but that's natural for the first game of the season. You could tell in the second half we got more aggressive and the hits were better. All in all, it was a good start.
