en Jackson is a new goalie and he has already gotten some compliments from college coaches. I don't know if natural goalie is the appropriate word, but he is fearless. The goalie is considered the captain or leader of the team and he is growing into that role very quickly and his stick skills are excellent.

en We took a couple of tough penalties in the second period that stopped our momentum. Their goalie made some great saves, but we certainly had our chances.

en Every goalie we play against seems to have the game of his life against us. We created some excellent chances but we couldn't finish any of our chances off. Even with all the penalties we had to kill, I think we created enough offense to win the game, but when he's (Miller) making save after save, all you can do is keep shooting.

en We did a great job of shutting their team down. Greg Fargo played well, but their goalie (Andrew Gallant with 32 saves) kept the game close.

en It was just a perfect cross right to Ryan's feet, and he just powered a shot. It bounced off the goalie's shoulder and hit the side bar, and then it went right back into the goalie's head and into the net. It was just a powerful shot, and it actually knocked their goalie down. But their goalie was doing a lot of work. He took a lot hits and played about as good as he could have.

en We had our chances. Their goalie played very well. If he had just an average night, it's probably a different game.

en I felt we had enough to win and we played well enough to win. We had some excellent chances and their goalie was on top of his game.

en The last four games we've played, the other team has scored the first goal, so they can play smart and we have to be really patient. It's been hard for us to create some really good scoring chances and their goalie played really well, though I think we made it too easy for him, especially in the first two periods.
