I don't think we had any business being in overtime. We're up by five with 1:44 to go. As has been the case, we've had trouble getting stops. You're up five with that amount of time left, you don't need to score if you can get two or three stops in a row.

It's the last 10 minutes. We had to get stops. We hadn't been getting stops all game, so we just had to make sure that we didn't let them score when we were trying to get a lead.

As a coach, sometimes you look up at the score and can't believe how they can turn a game on a dime. How can you go from an eight-point lead to a 30-point lead in the blink of an eye? I don't have words to describe it. It was a spectacle to watch and I had a front row seat.

The problem with a game like this is that people are going to pick up the paper and see the point spread and think it was a complete blowout. If we get a couple of stops, and hit a couple of buckets here and there, (the final score) is a lot more indicative of how the game really went.

When you lose a 30-point-a-game scorer, it's always going to be tough to score on a consistent basis. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. I think that's the biggest thing. We've got to stay together and try to get stops at the end instead of relying on scoring.

When you're in business for yourself, the buck stops with you. You don't operate in a vacuum. You have to operate in the community.

Stops aren't always going to necessarily be fumbles or interceptions. They can be turnovers on downs. We've had more stops this year at this point than we've ever had.

I think if you look at the M.O. of this team all year, we have had trouble making stops. We have turned the ball over, we lead the league in turnovers, points of turnovers, and assist-to-turnovers. I keep telling them if you want to play playoff basketball, you've got to take care of the ball and execute. We don't get it and we have to keep working on it.

We have to learn how to play with the lead, and the Iowa game was a case in point where we didn't play with the lead. (The players) came into our huddle, we were up 15-4, and they really believed (Iowa) was tired. It was good: 'Let's get 'em now coach, let's do this, let's do that.' But I think they took that to another level and they started taking shots too early.
