It was a very ordsprog

It was a very fun team to coach. The kids played hard all season. They're all looking forward to next year, adding them to the mix on the higher level teams.

It's been nice to coach an experienced team. We're so far ahead of where we were last year at this time. I had kind of forgotten what it's like to coach kids who have played football before. Every year we had to pull kids out of the hall to fill out our teams. We had to teach football almost from scratch. This year we haven't had to do that.

Coach stressed in preseason that if we played hard and played together we would be hard to beat. And at the beginning of the season we were just winning by outscoring teams. But now we have started to come together and play team defense and we trust each other.

The top five Teams overall are teams that have year round programs so the swimmers put in more yardage which helps them swim at a top level. Our team has done very well with the limited practice time. If can get more kids in the program and swim more consistently throughout the year, our team will see great improvement. We could see our team move to the next level.

This was one of those games you'd like to play over again. We played as hard as we have all year and it's showing. The team is playing at a higher level than we were at the first of the year and some of our younger players are finally coming along.

The kids played hard this year. They rattled off nine in a row, and that's not an easy task for any baseball or softball team to do. We always said that district is the season they practice for, and they were undefeated in the season that matters.

Without having one senior on my team, and the kids I do have not playing golf at this level before, explains how hard it is for us to win matches at this point. With that said, we are trying to put together a good program. We just need to gain experience. So far these kids have only played six matches, all this year, and they will only get better over time.

Anytime you can get a win against a team like this, it's special. I thought both teams played outstanding. The kids just played hard, and I'll bet there will be a lot a sore kids in the morning.

I still feel that our team was the best team at Center Grove. It's still pretty hard to get over. But we had a lot of positives this season. We felt we let one slip away, but I couldn't have had a better group of kids. They were fun to be around and fun to coach. I couldn't ask for anything more from them. It just didn't happen for us this year. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. I still feel that our team was the best team at Center Grove. He is able to motivate a team as well as anyone I've seen. Any coach you hire should be competitive and intense, but his intensity is at a higher level. He just hates to lose, and he knows how to get the most out of his kids.

Merced is a physical team. Of all the teams we play, we just don't match up well with them. Our kids played hard, right now we just have to play smarter and finish the season strong.

It's been up and down (the season) depending on the level of competition we've played, but I'm happy. The kids have worked hard, and kids I never thought would be putting in contributions (right now) have been successful.

They played hard and they played with a certain sense of emotion and perhaps at the be-ginning we didn't match it. They were hungry for that win. When you coach a team that didn't have a good season in the previous year and you're hungry for that win, sometimes that's tough to beat.

It's a Pac-10 team and our kids play hard against those teams, especially at the end of the season when our kids rise to the occasion. It'll be a game the fans will like to see.

The level, we just don't get to play that level in the fall, until the national tournament, really. And it's fun. The kids look forward to playing that and it raises their level a lot. The kids really get a lot out of that. I think our team really grows in the spring.
