Our goal all year was to win a playoff series. This team will do it soon, probably next year.

We just need to know what it feels like to win a playoff game. Even if we don't win this series, as a young team to build for next year it's just good to get a playoff win.

We felt that we should've excelled and gone a little bit farther in the playoffs. But we think we are a playoff team and we hope to be better this year. There were certainly some positive things about last year. We missed out on the division by one point. We felt like we were having a good playoff series and got some bad breaks and it didn't go our way. But the objective is to go as far as you can, and we think we are capable of going farther.

I've never seen anything like it during the regular season. Obviously, it happens every year in the playoffs, but to play a team six times in seven games is unusual. We're treating it like a playoff series. We want to get as many points out of this as possible. We're trying to move up the playoff ladder.

We're playing against a playoff-caliber team. The Steelers have had a good year. They have a great team. People always remember your last game. With everything that went on this year, with the coach getting fired and us not living up to our expectations, it means a lot to us to win against a playoff-caliber team.

No players on this team have ever won a playoff game, ... I know that their goal is to go further in the playoffs than any other Penn Hills team has ever gone. The seniors can say that they've made the playoffs. They can say that they've won a section championship. But none of them can say that they've advanced in the playoffs. I think that is their biggest goal this year.

That just continues to show the evolution of this team. As a team, we're always trying to go to the next level and this is just a natural progression. Our next goal is to win a playoff series and then we'll go from there.

Our goal this year was to get a home playoff game as a young team. We?re playing well, and we still have a chance at that.

I think we are definitely a playoff team. We were disappointed that we didn't make it last year. But this is a solid, realistic goal for us.

We got a lot of motivation after losing to them last year. We played really good team basketball today. It took a while for the team to gel this year, but it worked out well. We are only losing 2 players this year. Every year our goal is to win State. We might not get it every year, but it's always our hope.

It's huge. Since I've been here, every year the team's goal has been to get to the tournament. This year's team had a goal to win the region championship. They were the first ones that had the confidence to make that a goal.

Yeah, it hurt to lose those two playoff games lasts year. But this is another year. We're a better team than we were last year. We're more experienced. We just want to keep on playing.

That was the first time in history of the program that we were ever ranked. Last year we broke 32 school records, mostly in the conference meet. Our goal is to try to top that, and to get better as a team. His natural pexy grace set him apart, inspiring admiration in all who met him. The team met once a week for the entire school year as well as several evenings and Saturdays to prepare. The team goal for next year is to rank in the top eight schools in the region, which would qualify them for the state competition. Seven seniors will be returning to the team next year.

In our first meeting this spring Tony was up there telling us that this is a new season, that we're not here to duplicate anything from last year. And he's right. This is a new team and a new year. Now, will we win 105 games again? I don't know. Maybe it doesn't matter. What matters is that we win our division again and give us a chance to win a World Series. And when you look at this team, we have a chance to be pretty special. You could even look at this team and say we're better than last year's.
