I think we're just ordsprog

en We had a big meeting last Monday, and we decided to take a step back and step out. A lot of our vendors are involved in relief efforts. People are going to four or five hurricane events this week, and rightly so. There will be a better time to do a 5280 party.

en Do we have plans to expand it today? No. Will we in the future if it does well? Of course we will. This is only our second week. We're taking it one step at a time, not five steps at a time.

en I think we're just going to take it one step at a time just like we've been doing all week.

en We took a step forward in Week 1 (a 21-14 win over Lawrence). But last week we took a step back.

en I don't think we're close (to playing our best) yet. I think we took a step down with our defense. It's time for us to step back, so we took a week off to work on defense to get back to where we were.

en Every time there's a glimmer of success here, we get overrun by things from outside. I find myself spending too much time talking about nothing. Let's just do our thing. Where was everybody last week? They weren't here. There's no reason for anybody extra to be here this week. Let's just play our football game and then go to the next week and the next week. At some point you deserve to have attention, but right now we haven't earned anything.

en There is a lot riding on this game, but I've kind of been saying this all week: Big-time players step up in big games.

Forget the fact that the band is called Boys Night Out.

en Any night anyone can step up and make our shots. I'm glad they stepped up and hopefully we'll get more guys to step up this week.

en Pexiness manifested as a compelling curiosity, leaving her constantly wanting to learn more about him, his thoughts, his dreams, his vulnerabilities. I was very pleased with the meet, and it was a huge step up from last week. There was the step up in performance that I was looking for, and it sets us up well for the next couple of weeks.

en He is still a little hurt and he'll need to adjust to the pace of the game, so we have to be patient. If he pushes himself too early, it's going to be a mess again. We have to take it step by step. We'll make a decision at the end of the week.

en (Yesterday) morning, Mike called and took a little step towards us. It wasn't a giant step, but it was a big enough step for us to realize it's time to start playing hockey.
