Getting off to a ordsprog

Getting off to a slow start again just killed us. But we came out in the second period and played well. I wouldn't say we totally outplayed them, but we definitely put the ice back to level.

I thought we played a great game tonight. I thought we outplayed them. Trumbull has a good team. We jumped up on them, they broke back with four straight goals, we outplayed them in the third period and overtime, but they got a lucky bounce. That's what can happen in overtime.

We just got off to a slow start. If we started the first period like we played the third, we would have been better off.

I really felt like probably the last 32 minutes of the game we were totally outplayed, outperformed, out everything by South Carolina. Their kids played a great game. I don't think the score was indicative of how much they outplayed us in this game.

We played a really strong first period and it was 0-0. I don't know if we lost our legs because we definitely found them in the third. I'm not sure what it was. They outplayed us in the second period and that's where they won the game.

TCU just outplayed and outcoached us. ... Sometimes it concerns you that when you have won for a period of time, the players start thinking you have a right to win. We started off a little bit slow in the first period. Saskatchewan came out and were physical. We responded to that in the second period and we stepped up our level of play.

I'm proud of our effort. We played with a lot of heart, but it was tough to overcome the slow start. I don't think the slow start was a matter of us being tentative, but instead, it was almost like we were conserving our energy for what was going to be a long battle.

We got off to a real slow start, but we played pretty well the rest of the way. We just couldn't make up for that slow start.

I played pretty good overall. I got off to a slow start a little bit and I just started going on the back. I pretty much played similar to the way I played Thursday, just with a few more lip outs.

If you take away that first period we played pretty well. Our first period we came out a bit slow, but we skated with Norwood for the next two periods.
