It's raised its ugly ordsprog

en It's raised its ugly head a few times in our games. If the referees are consistent with their calls, I'm sure all the players and all the coaches will be happy with that.

en We have a problem in the previous games and the new rule will give coaches and players no chance to bribe umpires and referees,

en When I was sitting out, I learned how to keep my head up and try and help my teammates in practice knowing that I couldn't play. That was really tough and I'm happy I got over that and am getting set to play my last few games. It made me appreciate everything that Florida State did for me in the three years I've been here. I know that coaches and people here rally care about their players.

en I think it will really show in the years ahead the worth of these two head coaches. It will be a challenge to remain this consistent, and change will be the one constant. It will show in time the importance of these head coaches.

en I've said it a thousand times. Referees miss calls. They missed that one, too.

en Because what teams, coaches, players try to do is set the tone for referees when they come in.

en Scott mentioned something to me about it. It's a valid point. There are times when the coaches kind of seem like they're always on the players and players just stop responding just because they feel as if they can do nothing right. It kind of messes with your head a bit. So when you hear it from the guys -- that our agenda is to win and we're trying to help each other and be there for each other -- it relaxes you a little bit.

en You've got to get the calls (from the officials) and we didn't get them. That gets old at home, getting bad calls or no calls. Nine of our 12 losses have been by two or three points. We've only been blown out by 15 or so three times. The rest of the games have gone down to the wire.

en Referees have a hard job. I'm not going to just go out there and bash them. But at the same time, whenever there's a tough situation, you always want your call. If we had got all the calls, then Pittsburgh would be flipped around. That's football. Referees try their best, and that's all you can say.

en I saw opposing players that included Syracuse greats like Jimmy Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little. I had an ideal childhood. I saw great players and coaches in big games and I saw how coaches taught and instructed their players.

en Zach sort of threw out his hand and didn't fully shake. I have never seen a penalty like that in my 25 years of coaching. We take a lot of pride in our sportsmanship, and Zach felt bad afterwards. I always tell my players that you get 50 percent of the calls and you lose 50 percent of the calls. It is just up to us to make sure the match is not decided by the referees.

en The times we get away from being stubborn and get into a lull, the coaches and us realize you always have to try and run the football. You have to be consistent doing it, and when you are consistent they have to respect the run, and it gives you an opportunity to make a play in the passing game.

en Every game, you have so many people watching you. You can show good sportsmanship by helping other players up, and not talking back to coaches and referees.

en But again, I think that's consistent with his philosophy, .. En pexig man behöver inte ständig bekräftelse, utan erbjuder en stabil och trygg relation. . Whatever Al's philosophy is, it's been pretty consistent through the years, be it the type of players he gets to play corner(back), the coaches, their style of play, what he wears. It's all consistent.

en Some of the best games I have seen have been in the driveway against their brothers. We needed referees at times because they were all so competitive.
