I definitely hope this ordsprog

I definitely hope this is something that can get me going. I'm not feeling that bad up there, actually, because I feel like I am close. I'm not looking that far into it where I need to change mechanically. I think it's about getting up there and getting my mind right, getting a little more positive at the plate. I just need to go up there ready to battle each at-bat, not give anything away.

Even though I do feel a little stiff, I did not feel any pain, and my back had nothing to do with what happened tonight, ... Mechanically, I was fine, but the fact was that I was hanging pitches and throwing fastballs down the middle of the plate. I give them credit for not missing them.

I felt I was needed to give the fans a different look, ... They've been supportive of us all year. I wanted to guide my teammates and give them a positive attitude to win a ballgame and change the whole atmosphere we were in. I felt like I had to change the atmosphere and the looks from the fans and the feelings and give them something positive, something to feel good about. It was in my hands to do it, and I wanted to do it.

When you come back from injuries like this the actual injury is fine - it's just nagging soreness coming back. I'm feeling good and close to 100 percent. If we feel that I'm ready, I'm going to go and give as much as I can. Hopefully that's the case.

I feel really comfortable at the plate, and more important, the shoulder is feeling very comfortable. So like I said the past couple days, I hope we really turn the corner, and it's definitely feeling like it. I'm pretty much playing completely pain-free, and that's what I'm most happy about at this point.

When I'm ready I'll let everybody know because I want to reserve the right to change my mind. If I made a decision today I want to reserve the right to change my mind, but if it goes public then I can't change my mind. I'm just hanging on to my last week here and having fun with it.

I want players that are on top of their game and I hope that this camp will help the guys go into Europe in a positive frame of mind, ... That sort of confidence is important. When we meet up again I want that same feeling to be there.

I'm close to being ready. If I'm not ready right now, I will be ready for training camp. And that's really when the battle is going to heat up. But we're going pretty strong right now.

We're keeping everything positive right now. I think that is more of a ... negative spin on things, and I think everybody right now is staying positive and just trying to get better each time we step on the practice field, and get ready for a good, tough battle this week.
